Our origin

In Q4 2024, STM Group PLC was acquired by Jambo SRC Limited, a company led by pensions and investments industry experts. The STM Group acquisition extended to all subsidiaries and has now evolved to become Global Pensions Corporation (‘GPC’).

STM Group PLC was originally established in 1989 as a multi-jurisdictional highly regulated financial services group specialising in the administration of client assets relating to retirement, estate and succession planning, and wealth structuring.

Following the acquisition, all businesses within GPC remain focused on building on their successes and continuing to help improve the financial wellbeing of their customers and advisers.

As a result of the acquisition, Ken Hogg was appointed as Group CEO. Ken’s successful career in both growing and leading life insurance and pensions companies demonstrates the commitment to redefining the future of our businesses and products. Ken’s strong track record of success will help ensure that GPC listens to what advisers need and prioritising the interests of all customers.

As we continue to build on our current strengths and introduce new ones, we remain focused on product innovation and in delivering great services to advisers and their customers.

The latest GPC Solvency and Financial Condition Report (‘SFCR’), which includes information for each subsidiary, has been published. The report details that capital requirements are held in excess of liabilities to ensure financial resilience and solvency of the Group and subsidiaries.
